The "American Dream" has circulated the hearts and minds of countless people around the world.  Droves of people who aspire and dream to have this American Dream try to stake their claim in America every day as a result.  Wait a minute.  Should they?  What if the American Dream is a actually a dream that does not include Jesus?  Do you still want the American Dream now?  What exactly is this American Dream and how does it effect those who have decided to follow Jesus?  Is there a version of the American Dream in the Bible and what does Jesus have to say about it?  

It is so good to know that God's justice is not like man's justice.  Simply watch a crime show or two and you will see everything from legal loopholes, politics, money bribes and more, all of which make things unfair.  Because God is not like man and His ways are not like ours, His judgment will not only be fair but righteous, holy, pure, blameless, right, and good.  Yes!  No one has to worry about getting what they deserve regardless of how they live.  God sees all.  God knows all.  Hear the conclusion of exactly how God deals with the fixed natural inclination of the heart of man, including those who have been labeled infamously evil.

Evil exists and the world knows it does.  Unfortunately, there is not a consensus as to "why" it does.  The variants within religious and cultural contexts around the world remain clueless as to the origin, current practice, and future continuation of evil.  There are thousands of religions, but there is only one truth.  The Jesus Christ of the Bible has the answer.  And if you read the Bible it won't be long before you see that it is not God who is responsible for evil, but rather us human beings including you and me.  Countless atrocities have been committed and continue to be committed even as of this podcast.  Listen to the "why" of evil according to the God who created the ears you listen with now.

Other people's children.  You see them.  You hear them.  You may have unfortunately had your day or dining or shopping experience ruined by them.  Sadly, your children or even you yourself may have been a victim of the foolery and wrongdoing of other people's children.  Americans have embarrassed themselves with how their children act on a regular basis.  Is this problem new?  Is there anything we can learn from the historic attempts to resolve this issue?  Unless this is eradicated efficiently, the problem of other people's children soon becomes the problem of everybody else.  Is there really a solution that works for everybody once and for all?

Have you ever wanted to "see" different things in scripture that you miss sometimes?  This is a segment from my personal Bible reading, shared with you for encouragement, strength and insight.  Imagine us sitting across from one another reading the Bible together.  Upon closer examination, this episode can help answer questions like what does God think about this?  Do humans and God reason the same?  Could it be that the way we feel and respond to things is because God feels and responds the same or not so much?  Hear an example of studying the Bible and gleaning more than just developed Christian catch phrases or spiritual hallmark cards.  You cannot close the Bible with the same view of God nor the same approach to following Jesus afterwards.

How many religions, philosophies, or concepts of god can the human being conjure up?  Perhaps there are as many belief systems as there are seasonings for food in the world.  Are they all true?  Are just some of them true?  Or is only one of them true?  History shows it is ridiculous that religions were created after Jesus Christ walked the earth.  There were already countless gods worshipped by a great percentage of the population thousands of years prior.  Since this is true, why have people broadcasted a supposed new figment of their own privately interpreted imaginations?  Believe it or not, just like anybody can cook, anybody can make a religion.

About a month ago the SBC (Southern Baptist Convention) voted to ban women from being pastors.  One group of women rose to prominence using a billboard size sentence outside of the convention that added gas to the years long contention, which read "God calls women to pastor, preach, and minister."  Does He really or does He not really?  What can this group or any other group or individual do if they disagree with the vote of the SBC?  Are there really any options for churches who do have women pastors, preachers, and leaders?  What's the real problem with with going against the men in leadership at the SBC?  

Motives.  Everyone has them, but no one can see them.  It stinks when your time is wasted, but it especially stinks when your time is wasted by other people.  Have you ever wondered about the way God feels when people waste His time?  Help me God!  Please God!  Bless me God!  I need this God!  Protect me God!  People who oftentimes make these cries to God never have any intention on serving Him, obeying Him, loving Him, or living for Him at all.  And, some church goers or even people who grew up in a Christian context are no different.  Before you waste yours, God's or the time of others, answers this question: what do you really want to do with Jesus?

People claim to speak for God.  In today's world, who doesn't speak for God?  Is it a surprise or wonder to hear "God spoke to me" or "I am an enlightened one" or "God called me to (fill in the blank)."  Thankfully, these phrases are not new and the foolery of fools claiming to speak for God isn't either.  People have claimed to speak for God since the days of Moses.  With so many YouTube channels, podcasts, and countless other platforms, is there a sure way to know when God is speaking through people today?  More importantly, can you yourself be used by God, hear from God, and know when God speaks and when He doesn't?  

Have you ever wondered why some things are done they way they have always been done?  It has been said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.  Could it be that this is what's happening with Sunday School?  What is Sunday School anyway?  Is there any real purpose to Sunday School, specifically in America?  What can churches learn from the history that keeps repeating itself as a result?  Am I in sin if I don't participate in Sunday School when my church offers it?
