God. Some God. No God. Throughout the ages man has attempted to establish himself primarily, universally, and unanimously apart from God. In other words, most people would agree that humans are capable of doing good and making themselves good without God. Is will power and focused intentionality enough? Can I envision things mentally, speak things out loud enough, be good to my neighbor when it benefits me to make society better? If I have enough golden marbles in my house, burn incense, put lemons outside my window at night, and travel up a mountain to a specific location once a year to bring morality for all? If God is removed from the equation, what are we left with when it comes to being moral?
